Antioch Amazon Adventure

Trade in your snow shovel for the wild parrots, orchids, giant kapok trees, and refreshing waters of the Amazon River Basin. Come aboard Antioch University New England's first-ever Amazon Adventure, a spectacular and surprisingly affordable study-travel experience for AUNE alumni and their guests.

Travelers will explore a culturally and environmentally rich watershed area about two-thirds the size of the continental United States. Our seasoned eco-tour guide will lead a wild but comfortable boat journey along the world's largest river and its tributaries through the world's largest tropical forest system. Spend time on the river (and in it!), train your binoculars on exotic wildlife, learn botany, hike, fish, and immerse yourself in local culture.
